Emergency Care Practitioner
Posted 10 October 2023 by CharlieHallam Medical has a fantastic opportunity for experienced Emergency Care Practitioners (ECP) in the Leicestershire area to support Out of Hours GP Surgeries.
In this role you will be assessing, treating, diagnosing patients that have pre booked appointments at the surgeries that present with minor illnesses ailments.
This is a great opportunity for ECPs looking for locum work to work as part of one of the UK’s Largest Private Healthcare Providers (outside of IR35).
The services operate on an OOH basis, with evening shifts available in the week and day shifts available at the weekend. This role is applicable to competent autonomous ECPs who hold a minor injury qualification, previous experience is preferred. Whether you are a full-time locum or looking to top up your working hours this opportunity can offer both stability and flexibility.

- Assessment & Treatment of Minor Illness
- Prescribing (desirable)
- Urgent Care experience
- Advanced Clinical Practice Qualification or equivalent
- Hold a HCPC registration
