Specialist Paediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
Posted 28 December 2023 by SueHallam Medical has a remote working opportunity for Specialist Paediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP) to support a NHS 111 Service.
We are looking for ANPs with Triage experience to work as a Specialist Paediatric Clinical Advisor to support the 111 Clinical Assessment Service.
In this role you will carry out consultations with patients under 16 years old and/or their parents/guardians, and will provide the caller with a diagnosis, or signpost them to further services or testing.
To apply for this role:
- Hold a NMC Registration
- Significant, demonstrated experience in supporting paediatric patients
- All clinicians working in PCAS must have completed Safeguarding Level 3 training and be able to prescribe
- All clinicians working in PCAS should have completed their qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Recent professional paediatric experience
- Triage experience
- Experience of dealing with emotionally charged situations
