Occupational Health Clinic Nurse (RGN)
Posted 09 January 2024 by LaurenHallam Medical have an exciting opportunity for a RGN to join an Occupational Health team to deliver vaccinations and Occupational Health advice across Cornwall and Plymouth.
As an Occupational Health Clinic Nurse (RGN) you will be required to deliver occupational advice and immunisations to NHS employee’s across the Cornwall and Plymouth area. You will be working autonomously and as part of a wider multi-displinary team maintaining confidentiality and in line with professional guidelines.
Specific Responsibilities include –
- Undertaking medicals for fitness assessments according to predetermined standards.
- Responsibility for ordering and maintaining stock levels of immunisations; also consumables and paperwork associated with all aspects of the Occupational Health service.
- Undertaking basic pre-employment assessments.
- To manage the follow up of contamination injuries.
- To undertake skin assessment in line with agreed OH departmental protocols.
To apply for this role:
- NMC Registered
- Full UK driving license
- Confident in carry out all standard Occupational Health nursing duties
- A minimum of 6 months UK Occupational Health Nursing experience
