Rapid Response Nurse (RGN)
Posted 09 January 2024 by LaurenHallam Medical have a great opportunity for a rapid response Nurse (RGN) to support a Rapid Response service in Gloucestershire.
Hallam Medical are looking for Rapid Response Nurses (RGN) to carry out home visits throughout Gloucestershire.
You will be responsible for carrying out specialist and advanced clinical assessments and be able to set out treatment plans for patients that are acutely unwell to prevent hospitalisation.
The ideal candidate will have patient assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills, be comfortable being a lone practitioner in the community and be confident in using Patient Group Directives or be an independent prescriber.
You will be competent in administrating medication through IV cannula or PICC line, able to do both male/female urethral and Suprapubic catheterisation and be competent in the use of syringe drivers.
Own vehicle and a minimum of 6 months experience is essential.

- NMC Registered
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- A minimum of 6 months UK Nursing experience
- Be confident in – Catheterisations, PGD’s, IV’s, Patient assessments, PICC lines and Diagnostic skills.
