The International Council of Nurses (ICN) has announced the theme for this year’s International Nurses Day: Our Nurses. Our Future. The economic power of care.

International Nurses Day (IND) is celebrated on 12 May each year with the International Council of Nurses choosing the theme.

International Nurses Day aims to shine a spotlight on the amazing work nurses do every day as well as reshaping perceptions and demonstrating how strategic investment in nursing can bring considerable economic and societal benefits.

It has also been announced by the International Council of Nurses on International Nurses Day a report on economic power of care will be released.
