Hallam Medical are supporting a remote-working Paediatric Clinical Assessment Service
Hallam Medical are delighted to be working with a leading Out of Hours service to deliver the locum support of specialist Paediatric Advanced Practitioners.
We are working in partnership with the Out of Hours service to provide specialist Paediatric Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Paediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioners to their NHS 111 service which is currently providing a remote-working Paediatric Clinical Assessment Service (PCAS) across the UK, following a successful pilot project.
This is a highly specialised role which delivers clinical advice to under 16’s and their parents/carers via remote telephone triage to help divert avoidable emergency department presentations and reduce Emergency Department, Ambulance and Primary Care dispositions.
Hallam Medical are already working with a number of extremely talented Paediatric Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Paediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioners who are currently providing locum support to the service and due to the increasing demand, which this service and similar PCAS across the UK are now experiencing, we are keen to speak to any Advanced Practitioners with specialist paediatric experience who would be interested in getting involved in the project.
The PCAS service is live between 16:00-22:00, 7 days a week and shifts can be offered on a flexible locum basis to suit your needs.
If you are interested in hearing more about the service and offering your support, or speaking to Hallam Medical about the specialist locum PCAS support which we can offer to your service, please get in touch with Sue Cook or Gemma Smith on 0333 800 0395.
